Studio Operations Manager (Portland)
As the Studio Operations Manager at West of West you will efficiently handle a wide range of office management and support tasks while working closely with studio leadership. You will play a critical role in the management, growth, and overall culture of the studio. You should be a high-energy, self-motivated individual with a perpetually positive attitude who is hungry for opportunity at a growing young design company. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be interested in how a creative company works and thrives. Previous experience working at a creative firm, agency, or start-up considered a plus.

We are looking to expand our Portland office with a full-time Project Designer position for someone who has a strong interest in the design and implementation of commercial projects. We’re looking for a talented, high-energy person with a great attitude who is looking for new growth and fresh challenges!
In addition to being trained as an architect and confident in the design and documentation phases of a project, you should be:
Driven, hungry, and self-motivated
Have a minimum of three years professional experience
Familiar with high-end, design-driven commercial projects
Familiar and capable with the phases of architectural design
Familiar with the production of construction documents
Excited to be part of a growing office
A clear communicator and highly organized, goal-oriented individual
Experience with Rhino, AutoCAD, and Revit
Experience with the creation of high-quality renderings in Vray is a plus
We are looking for a talented intern to join us in our studio in Portland.
You should be a highly-talented and self-motivated individual who takes the initiative, is passionate about their work, and is obsessed with quality. You should have a great attitude and be easy to work with. You will be involved in a wide range of projects at multiple scales and be tasked with presentation drawings, design studies and sketches, project documentation, and physical model making. As one of the benefits of joining us you will have the opportunity to participate in many aspects of our practice, gaining exposure to the diverse projects and tasks within our studio.
0-3 years professional experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino
Proficiency in all Adobe programs
Experience in Grasshopper, Revit, and V-ray is a plus
Highly organized and self-motivated
Strong communication skills
Ability to work, communicate, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
